I lie awake thinking...
It seems that, in preparation for the coming sleep deprivation, my body is preparing with.... sleep deprivation. Catching zzz's happens briefly, sporadically, inconsistently. On the upside though, I don't feel very anxious about it, and for the hours that I am awake each night I find myself just lying there thinking stream-of-consciousness thoughts. Which are pretty weird. Lately I've been musing about:
* what my labor will be like, since I'm doing a hypno-birth series. I wonder whether I'll have one of those zen pain-free labours, or whether my habit of over-thinking things is going to frustrate the process.
* how I should write our Christmas newsletter.
* why it is that asparagus makes your pee smell.
* how we should arrange and rearrange things in preparation for house-guests.
* if we played boggle for a couple of hours straight, would we come up with any better suggestions with names for our son?

"Son, we just couldn't think of a name for you until that hundredth game of Boggle."
"But Mom, couldn't you just have called me John or Harry or Skylar or something?"
"I'm sorry, Bzknagrew, someday when you have to name your own children you'll understand!"
Waiting in anticipation to hear his name! xxx
