dear pregnancy brain

Dear pregnancy brain,

Thanks to you, I've had to relearn some important lessons this week, like:

  • coffee gets made faster when you switch on the machine.
  • granola tastes better when you make it with old-fashioned rolled oats and not with the quick oats you mistakenly picked up from the store.
  • it's easier to mop the floor when you put the absorbent side of the swiffer pad downwards instead of trying to mop with the plastic side.
  • bread cooks better in the bread machine when you add the water instead of leaving it in the measuring cup right next to it.
  • your kids look more presentable when you dress them with the labels and seams on the inside.
  • it feels weird to get in the shower without first removing your glasses.
Oh well. It's been funny at least.

Yours in hormonal flux,
Bronwyn

I need more of these kinds of posts to keep me from wanting the Baby #4 that my husband does not desire... ;-)
