Trick or Treat

I'm not a fan of Halloween - but OH! I am a FAN OF MY KIDS IN COSTUME! So fun!

In preparation for the annual downtown Davis trick-or-treat event, I was explaining to Tegwyn how she would get to wear a costume and then go into stores and say "trick or treat", and people would give her candy. "I'm gonna be a bumble bee, Mama!" she said. "Yes," I replied, "and when you go into the store then you'll say 'Trick or Treat!'"
She didn't miss a beat: "Bumble bees don't say trickery - they say BUZZZZZZ!"

Nonetheless, after the conversation was rehearsed, Telly Tubby Callum and busy body Teg got ready to go out and charm the town:

Daddy came home early from work to join us, and found this scene waiting on the lawn for him, ready to go.
I can't remember the last time I saw him beam with such joy: I mean, really - the cuteness was out of control!

We met our buddies downtown, and they were kind enough to take a snap of all 4 of us.

But my personal favorite of the day: this sign, stuck on the door of the downtown dentist :-)

Now that's what you call putting your money where your mouth is!
