a postcard from crazy-land
Wow! 6 weeks since my last blog post. Have I given up on blogging? Have I instituted a ban on the internet? Have I run out of things to say? Or if I haven't, have I decided not to share them any more?
None of the above. Things have just been busy. I just started teaching a 7 week series on Jesus in the Psalms... and wrote the weekly study guide and homework book that goes with it. So for the last 10 weeks there have been three phases to each day: Phase 1: during every moment my children were awake, I tried to be present with them and love them and keep house... Phase 2: during every moment they were sleeping, I studied and wrote and studied and wrote and studied and wrote Psalms studies... Phase 3: once they went to sleep at night, I collapsed on the couch. And so it went for nearly 3 months: lather, rinse, repeat.
During this time, Callum has cut his first tooth, Tegwyn is having another go at potty training (oh! the humility which this is bringing me!), my Dad came to visit for 2 weeks, we took a brief vacation, I lost and found my watch (after a month!), I lost and found my cell phone (after 2 weeks), I've made new friends, and old friends have had beautiful new babies, G has scheduled a visit, and more! more! more! but no time for that now. I am doing three talks on Tuesday and just clicked on my blog to look up an anecdote from some years ago, and thought I should probably check in while I was on the page.

YAY! A post!! Teg's hair looks very red in that pic. And Callum looks like he will be fitting in Jeremy's shoes by next week. Good night, he has grown! And Bron, you look mah-velous. (As usual). You look very very happy.
