A new house!
We are moved! It took a lot of help to get all our stuff one mile up the road from our old apartment into our new house... and in 105deg (about 42C) heat... but we're in, and we're LOVING IT! My computer is not fully connected yet so no pictures or details yet, but we're loving getting to know our new house! Here are a few things I especially love:
* CENTRAL AIR CONDITIONING! Oh my. There just aren't words for how good this is.
* Natural light (i.e. a window) in the bathroom! For the first time in 5 years we don't have to shower to the gentle hum of an extractor fan... and (sorry if this is TMI), now I can shape my eyebrows in the privacy of my own home and not in the car, which had been my default place beforehand :-)
* A washing machine and dryer. On Saturday I did 5 loads of laundry... WHILE UNPACKING. No stairs. No coins. No setting a timer to get back to the laundry at the end of the cycle so someone else didn't dump my stuff on the floor...
* A GARDEN! So lovely.
* A garage... which means I don't have to park in the sun... which means that I don't have to risk giving Tegwyn 3rd degree burns from the scalding car seat every time I put her in it.
* Teg has her own room! Today I stuck happy flowers on all the walls of her room. She loves it. I love it. We are all just loving it.
Did I mention the central air conditioning? Oh my. I feel so very blessed.

YAY!!!!
So happy you're happy! Sounds lovely.
1. "Shaping my eyebrows" sounds so much nicer than "plucking my eyebrows."
2. I CANNOT WAIT until we have our own washer and dryer. It's probably a ways off, but I dream about it sometimes. No joke.
3. Congrats! Your new house sounds absolutely lovely :)
Yay! How wonderful! Happy unpacking!
