Catching-up with photos
Yay! Yay! Yay! We're back online after nearly 3 weeks of internet-deprivation. Yay! Yay! Not a moment too soon either: we have about 7 weeks left before our lease expires (no more place to live) and our visa expires! So 7 weeks to get organized, which will be easier with the ability to do some high-speed surfing :-)
April was lovely. PERFECT Spring weather: mild, sunny days with green, green grass and flowers all around. Poor Jeremy's allergies have flared up terribly with the pollen, but allergens aside - it's been wonderful. Here are photos from a few happy highlights:
Tulips near our house:

Jeremy and I went on a "teenage date" to the fair! It's been 20 years or more since I last rode on a Ferris Wheel :-)

Very exciting, as you can see...

We followed American tradition and got our darling daughter all dressed up in a pretty poofy dress for Easter... and LOVED the effect! We had a wonderful, thoughtful Easter. I got to play the piano in a music-laden service, which seriously tested my musical memory; and later that afternoon we joined friends for an Easter feast... and an easter egg hunt (eggs filled with nutritious berries! Yay! Good job Amanda!)

Teg and Charis hunt eggs, while I try to capture the moment... (Thanks for the pic, Stan... I think it has a wonderfully whimsical "secret garden" quality about it!)

The following weekend, we were thrilled to join friends for a trip to Vegas - what an amazing gift! Ray and Wendy spoiled us rotten, fed us, showed us around, and then watched Teg at night while we went off to see the AMAZING Cirque du Soileil show "KA". Quite possibly the most incredible thing I've seen on stage. It's up there with Riverdance, although for different reasons! I was so busy having fun that I didn't take many pictures, but here are 2 pretty pictures from the gorgeous Bellagio where we were staying:
Somehow, snails aren't that yucky when they're made out of roses:

A close-up of a few of the Bellagio's EXQUISITE ceiling art... each one of those flowers is a hand-blown piece of glass more than a foot in diameter!
Teg and I on the Vegas "strip" :-)

Then, there were lots of lovely fun times at home. I have bazillioins of cute pookie pics which I and others took this month, but I'll save you the motherly-brag and just post my favourite one for now:

It was a busy month! We travelled, we played, we snoozed, we visited with friends and we visisted with more friends - and so here, for the grand finale, is a video clip of Teg visiting with her new little friend Aletheia (3 months old)... The first time Tegwyn has ever held a baby :-)

Great to have you back in the blog saddle again and connected. Lovely pics 'n chat. Video clip of Teg with baby would not load tho'. xx
Hey, nothing wrong with a little motherly brag. :-) Loved the picture you picked though. Priceless.
As for the video clip: What IS it about toddlers, pointer fingers, face holes, and infants? Baaaad combination.
Little Teg looked so adorable in the Easter dress! Isn't it great that you can dress up your own little girl??? =)
Her hairdo adds a little bit of a boyish look to her beautiful, girlish face!
