VBC Days 2 & 3

Yesterday and today I had fun at VBC! Yesterday we learned about how Jesus gives us the power to help others. For application, I asked the kids to think of different ways that they could help others this week. The thought crossed my mind that as a wife and mom, there are MANY ways I have each day to be helpful to others... but perhaps I didn't so much need suggestions on how to be helpful, as the reminder that it is Jesus who gives me the daily strength to fulfill those tasks. It was a gentle reminder, and rebuke to yours truly, who huffs and puffs her way through chores far too easily. "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me," even my daily chores :-)
