Jaws!!
My sister and I have, in general, been oohing and aahing at how cute it is to see our daughters together. My neice, Kayla, is 17 months old and very entranced with her cousin: she says "baby" and tries to pat Tegwyn on the head and point out her eyes and nose to her. With repeated admonitions of "gently, gently", this has for the most part gone smoothly.
This morning things got bumpier. Taryn and I stepped into the kitchen to gather our things to go out, and seconds later Teg let out a banshee wail. The source of the pain? Two rows of bite marks on her forehead!!! I don't know who was more shocked: Teg at the pain, Taryn at the horror of what her child had done, or Kayla at the sudden angry mama she had to face. Hours later, poor Teg is sporting two shiners still, but peace has been restored, and the mommies have upped their levels of vigilance :-)

Hi Bronwyn
Hayley mentioned your blog today so I decided to check it out. Lots of fun. Glad you are enjoying your little one so much, despite the hard days (there are many!). Have fun in Aus :)
So glad it wasn't Noah who gave her her first bite. So sad she got a bit at all. But what a great story for later on!!
Hmm, I did that to my sister growing up... she was something like 3 and I was the younger one (around 1). I think she cried a lot. But hey, we turned out friends and I don't think I did it again.
