"That" person
Next week I leave for Australia: just me and my (then) 7 week old baby - on a 14 1/2 hour flight to Sydney, followed by a 5 hour flight to Perth. After years of traveling on international flights and always hoping that I won't be seated near the person with the screaming baby... I am now about to become "that person". you know, the one with the screaming baby giving apologetic glances to all around as she boards the plane.
DV, Teg will be sleepy and well-fed and find the hum of the engines and the motion calming. The alternative is a little frightening to imagine. While I'm VERY excited about seeing my family in Oz, it's the "getting there" that has me nervous. Pray for us...

Take heart! The roar of the plane engines drowns out most of the sound of baby crying. Really, it isn't so piercing as at home in your quiet bedroom. We're very excited that you get to go, and we will excitedly await your return! Hopefully Teg wont be crawling by the time you get back! And Jeremy: don't be a stranger; come visit any time.
