The No-Name list
Our efforts at making a list of baby names we like somehow always degenerates into a conversation about which names we CAN'T name our baby... the no-name list is much funnier, and actually far less stressful. So far, some of the contenders which cannot be mixed with the last name Lea include:
1. Frank (we do give a damn)
2. Claire (clearly not)
3. Ernest (although it's very important to be...)
4. Mia (mielie is the South African word for maize)
5. Ria (oh really?)
6. Any name ending in -ly. Beverly. Leigh. Hayley. Bradley. Lily. Emily. (or Emma - because it would make it hard to tell where her first name ended...)
7. Sophie (so touchy, so feely)
8. Ulysses Grant (The great slave-owning president's name would give our poor child such uglea initials)
9. Robert E (could never live in Yankee territory)
10. Darryl (wouldn't work in Australia)
11. Sarah (everyone would expect her to bake)
Any others we should be aware of that we have missed?

Not "Grace" either. There are simply *way too many* "Grace Lee/Lea" out there!!! (Have you heard of the "Grace Lee Project"?)
Is that the one where they are counting all the Grace Lee's in the world? Or is it something different?
That's it! If you google "Grace Lee Project", you'll see it!
Yay! At least I made the top of the list of names not-to-be!
