Cravings
After "Is it a boy or a girl?", probably the most frequently asked question I get at the moment is "Have you been having any weird cravings?"So for the record, here is the answer. No, I have not developed a penchant for licking walls, or a pickle-fetish... but I have found that I have become a more fussy eater - and certain things just keep on appealing. Here's the short-list of "things I enjoyed eating while pregnant with Pip", for those who've been wondering:
1) Toast. Lots of it. Favourite toppings are:
* Marmite and cottage cheese (I guess this would count as a weird craving if you were American, but for me, it's more like the comfort food of my teenage years)
* Blackberry preserves and havarti cheese.
2) Sushi (I know, I know. It's an absolute pregnancy no-no, but I still want it!)
3) Peach yoghurt. Not berry. Not chocolate. Not vanilla. Peach.
4) Chai tea lattes. Yum!!! (Milk never tasted this good)
5) Cherries and apricots (this may not be a pregnancy thing... it's a season-thing!)
6) I feel I should write toast just one more time. So here goes: "toast".
