Warm fuzzies

I had forgotten how much I like animals.

Jeremy and I are house-sitting at the moment, and have in our charge one great Pyrenees dog (it looks like a polar bear), a rabbit (rather mangy looking, but apparently doted on), a fish and two cats. The fish and rabbit I could live without, but I have LOVED being with the dog and cats. I like BIG dogs. The small, aural-irritant, drop-kick variety of canines do nothing for me - but give me a big dog with character any day! And then there are the cats... Last night I was reading in the (giant) bathtub and had one of the cats circling the bath, rubbing his head against my hand, my book, my head, my hair as he stalked around. It was one of the best feelings I've had in a long time.
