In-laws
For the past week we have had Jeremy's parents visiting us: a long way for them, the first time we've ever had them under 'our roof', the longest we've ever spent with them, and their first trip to America! Definitely a big week...
We met them with a mixture of excitement and also apprehension: what would it be like? would we drive one another crazy? They arrived with arms full of gifts; smiling and replete with stories of their airport adventures and layover in London, so we were soon off to a good start. All in all we had a wonderful week, and it was great to see them so relaxed and happy. We introduced them to Mexican food, edamame, glacial moraines (there's a story behind those), and they got to play in the snow for the first time in decades!

How silly: sandals in the snow!

It was very fun to meet them... I hope they had fun. They seemed very at home here. Must feel good to know that the week went well!
