Zori is a word!

I have a new favourite word for today, which I discovered playing Scrabble.

ZORI! Zori are thong-type sandals, especially ones made from grass... Who wants to wear flip flops when you could be wearing exciting footwear like zoris!

Use in sentence: "Despite a zealous zephyr zipping through town, she zig-zagged across the zebra crossing with zing in her zoris..."
(For US readers - zebra crossings are what South Africans call crosswalks...) Yay for new words!!
