A milestone

milestone (n.)

1. A stone marker set up on a roadside to indicate the distance in miles from a given point.
2. An important event, as in a person's career, the history of a nation, or the advancement of knowledge in a field, a turning point.

Yesterday Jeremy faced a panel of 5 professors for a 3 hour oral examination and defence of his PhD proposal. HE PASSED! This definitely has the feeling of a milestone - we are 21 months from our first starting point, and this is defnitely a big event in his career, and hopefully in the advancement of knowledge in a field! I am a very proud wife.

Heartiest congrats to BOTH of you! Jeremy looked giddy on his way up the stairs to your place yesterday. Bronwyn, you looked giddier.

Way to go Leas!!!!!!!! Here's hoping that I'll get to see you through several more milestones while you're here in California...

hi bronwyn!
just saw your somment on my blog so i headed on over (and yes i definatley rememberd you!).
Thanks for saying hi - it's so encouraging to hear of people that you met years ago who are still going strong in ministry and in their faith isn't it? are you still in touch with ken and julie too?

Actually i've spent some time this morning just having a quick look through your blog and i resonated with one post that you made in Jan "Am I useful" - great question and one that i equally stuggle with in uni/student ministry...

looking forward to checking in and seeing what you're up to and how i can pray for you
in Him
Jodi
