As I sort through boxes...

We are nearly at 32 weeks in this pregnancy, and the nesting urge has kicked in. this, and the change of seasons, is necessitating sorting through box after box of kid and baby clothes.

As I work my way through the chaos, the following thoughts arise:

1: we have so much!! Due to the amazing sharing nature of our church community, we have clothes by the truckload for each child, a season in advance. we are overwhelmingly, amazingly, staggeringly blessed.
2: we are not as prepared for baby as I'd thought. Due to the amazing sharing nature of our community, we have also given away or lent out much of our newborn gear. Ahem. And also don't have any of the consumables like diapers and butt paste. Time to hit target and borrow a couple of teeny tiny onesies.
3: children are growing! Taller, faster, wider, wilder and stronger. And so much in just six months.
4: funny how the big questions regarding baby clothes change over time. Baby 1 I asked: is it cute? Is it pink? Baby #3 I am asking: can I take it off using one hand? Are the spit-up stains smelly? :) haha.
