Pacifica Pookie

Jeremy's brother arrived in the US last weekend and we decided to make a 'day' of it going to pick him up in San Francisco. Our intention was to visit Golden Gate Park (Botanical gardens! Bison!) and then head to the beach... but after getting lost for an hour in downtown San Fran and then discovering the GGP was closed for the day for a city concert - it was up to the beach to make all that driving worthwhile.

And it sure did. We had a fabulous time at Pacifica: chasing waves, jumping in bubbles and stomping in sand. The Pookie was reticent at first but quickly got the hang of it. We may need to do the beach thing more often! More about adventures with Martin, and pictures of Gene (who is a boy, by the way! 22 weeks down, 18 to go!) coming soon :-)
