Happy Anniversary!

Today is exactly 6 years since Jeremy and I first met. A friend of a friend had got in touch with me, asking if I could help find accomodation for a friend of his (Jeremy) who was moving to Cape Town. I gave him some names and phone numbers, as well as an invitation to dinner since he was new to town. So, on January 18th, 2003, Jeremy turned up on my door step for dinner, and the rest (as they say) is history.

It all moved fairly quickly from there. We started dating in early May. We decided to get married (by having a conversation that got out of hand...) 6 weeks later. And on January 17th, 2004, we tied the knot. The morning we first woke up as husband and wife was exactly one year, to the day, since we first met.

So yesterday we celebrated 5 years of marriage. Teg spent the day with her adopted grandparents, and we went show shoeing in the glorious California winter: snow and sunshine!


It's been a wonderful 5 years. Challenges? Yes. Growth? Yes. Laughter? Yes! Blessing? Yes! And how much more so, with Tegwyn added to the mix. We are so thankful to God for pairing us up :-)
