Developmental Leaps!!

Months 6 & 7 of Tegwyn's life were really slow compared to how Month 8 went! Every few days there has been something new. She started crawling just a month ago, and since then here are just a few of the things she has surprised us with:

Climbing stairs... 16 stairs in less than a minute after just 3 days.











Learning how to play peekaboo herself. Any object is worth a try: napkins, clothing, bears, socks...







Learning how to open cupboards, drawers, and (my personal favorite), how to pull on the toilet roll. As Wendy said, "well of course she loves to play with it... it's the gift that keeps on giving!"









Learning how to feed herself: bits of fruit, cereal (anything she can mush in her mouth because she still had no teeth)... and yes, ladies and gentlemen, that object in her mouth in the picture is a wedge of lemon! We had the camera poised waiting for her first "lemon face", but we were sorely disappointed! The kid munched through two lemon wedges without so much as a quiver of the chin. (And yes, we checked that it really was lemon!) Perhaps we will have an extreme-taster on our hands??
