The animals went in two by two
I seriously think that I am losing brain cells through my breast milk. Well, at least I hope that's where they are going or else I have bad brain atrophy to report. At least with the former scenario Tegwyn gets some benefit :-)
In addition to general brain fuzziness, I am also discovering a serious shortage of kiddie-song-lyrics in my head. Tegwyn seems to respond well to being sung songs during diaper changes (anything... ANYTHING to get the squawking to die down!)... but what to sing? I have been singing "The animals went in two by two, hurrah, hurrah...", but by the time I get to the third line I run out of lyrics. I'm making them up as I go - and they're getting a little absurd.
If anyone wants to come and teach me some great kiddy songs, I would really appreciate it - and I will do my level best to remember the lyrics and not leak them out while nursing :-)

ha ha ha.... I SO remember those days! ROFL!!
Suddenly you wonder where your memory has gone, and particularly about all things kiddy. Like when you suddenly start to wonder whether you'll make a good mother because you can't remember the REAL version of 'twinkle, twinkle..' or how the tune to 'incy wincy spider' goes! Ha ha ha! Oh yes, I remember those days.
Sadly, the fuzzy preggy brain is here to stay for a long time (at 2years on I still have preggy brain days/ weeks), so get used to that.
But as for all things kiddy song related - there are plenty of really good websites out there that give you the lyrics, and some that will even sing them to you! or give YouTube a try - you never know what you might find there!
We wound up buying several kiddy CD's, only to discover that it gets REALLY boring having them playing in the background all the time. You'll really know you're a parent when you can sing all the nursery rhymes (some of them in more than one language) and do all the actions (!!), but haven't a clue what's on the current Top 20!
Oh the joys! Ha ha ha...
