Pachelbel Rant

It's true. As a not-so-beginner-anymore-cellist.. I've got to say that Pachelbel's canon is without doubt the most boring piece of music ever put before me. And yet the chords appear in everything. Everything! Even in piano music!

AWESOME. I've long thought about this annoying musical trend; in fact, I recently thought to myself: I wonder what the list of pachabel-inspired songs would look like... Now I know. Thanks! By the way, Noah was VERY entertained by the clip--I guess 5 month olds know a good thing when they see it. That, or we have a genius.

no matter what they say, it will remain my favourite piece of music :P
And the reason for the really boring cello part is, that in musical theory the progression used is the most pleasing to the ear. I'm sorry for all the cellist who ever had to play it, but I'm sure that the violinists would not complain. I'm not sure what the flute score would ave looked like ;)
