Signs of settlement
This is a HUGE milestone: after nearly 3 years of marriage, we finally bought bedroom furniture. The two curvy chairs which have served as "nightstands" have officially been retired, and we now have FLAT surfaces on which to put lights, and books. I opened my eyes this morning, and smiled.This is the first furniture we have bought in our married life. It is a definite sign of settlement!

Oh, and the uplighters... (Which serve as bed side lights...)
Oh dear... I made him feel like a 'bad husband'... it's not as if we have been camping for 3 years. So to set the record straight: this is the first new, non-essential, big-ticket (well, not so big, but not thrift store) furniture we have bought.
Sorry babe. you're a great husband :-)
