Sneaky Snowmobiles
What do the following have in common?
car, horse, bicycle, boat, skis, tractor, SNOWCAT and SNOWMOBILE have in common?
These are all things I have ridden on! This past weekend, Jeremy and I went on retreat with the Roaring 20s. We took a 9 mile trip on a snow cat (like a snow tractor with a big trailer) to get to the site, and the next day tried our luck at snowmobiling. The snowmobiles look so glamorous and shiny - but we came off looking decidedly unglamorous and scruffy within 5 minutes of our ride into the brilliant white snow. Our snowmobile got too close to its friend at the front, and Jeremy and I got thrown. He has a pretty hole in his leg (but no damage to his clothes), and I have ripped pants, but no damage to my leg.
We feel foolish, but are fine.

Hey - aside from attempting to figure out butterfly bandages - the weekend was a smashing success!!
(did I just say that?? :-0) We'll defenitely have to do SOMETHING like that next year... hopefully I'll have an automatic snowball launcher designed - and we can have a massive war!
