Black-footed, my foot!
We headed to the famous Monterey Aquarium to celebrate our 2 year anniversary last week. The premier show for the day was the Aquarium's "pengiun feeding". We laughed out loud when we got to the exhibit to find a small colony of penguins.... from Cape Town, South African! According to their sign, we were looking at "black-footed" penguins... a far cry from their less-child-friendly name of "Jackass" penguins back home!

I wonder if Abby would get a time-out at preschool for talking about "Jackass" penguins during circle time.
I remember hearing a joke along those lines... a teacher was learning the names of the new students in her class. She asked one boy his name.
"Tom, Ma'am" he replied.
"Not Tom, it's Thomas", said she.
She asked the next boy his name.
"Jackass" came the reply :-)
