Home for the holidays

Well, it's flooding all around us. Highways closed to the north, west, south and east... but we are safe and warm and recovering from a super holiday with Faye & Chris (sister and bro-in-law). Allan and Develyn (friends of old!!) joined us for Christmas too and then we all headed up to Tahoe for a mini-snow break. I learned how to parallel ski (a great step up from the pizza-wedge ski-position down the slopes)... something I feel would be infinitely easier to learn if I were 5, not 29!


But here's the real reason for this blog entry:
I got an electronic tuner for Christmas from Jeremy so I can tune my cello... and as I type this, my dear husband is trying to "tune" his voice by singing strange "la" sounds into my tuner. Oh Oh Oh Oh, how I wish I could post a sound byte on this blog :-)
