Ungainfully unemployed

It is the end of an era, and the beginning of another.

This weekend I finished up my official role as Campus Director at College Life, and have now stepped into full-time Mommyhood. The College Life staff and students threw me a wonderful party on Sunday... I was bowled over by the many, many wonderfully kind things that were said, and felt so loved and honoured. An evening with students past and present 'telling about the good times' was a wonderful way to finish up 4 years of campus ministry :-) Tonight I am settling down to pour over the scrapbook I was given with pictures from the past four years with many little letters and notes written in it! I will keep tissues on hand...

How do I feel? It's still a little unreal. The days don't seem much changed yet (I'm still meeting up with students this week for fun...), but the shock is coming - I'm sure of it.

It's been a most wonderful season with College Life. I never expected it, but God has far surpassed what I thought or even imagined would happen. I am so very grateful!
