Teen wolf!!!

Last night we watched our second 'unplanned pregnancy' movie for the week: Waitress. J and I were chatting about how we had both thought that the movies had the same male lead, only to realize later that although they look alike, Jason Bateman and Nathon Fillion are two separate people. The conversation went something like this:

B: I also thought they were the same guy. But Nathon Fillion is the guy from Firefly, right?
J: Yes
B: And Jason Bateman... where is he from?
J: I don't know. Something from years ago.
(And then it hit me - WHUMP! a scary, haven't-thought-about-it-for-nearly-20-years kind of flashback...)
B: He was the guy from Teen Wolf!!! Oh my goodness!
J: (laughing) Teen Wolf!? Seriously? Wasn't that Michael J Fox?
B: Maybe. But I think it was Jason Bateman.

(imdb has cleared up that Michael J Fox was the original teen wolf in 1985, but Jason starred in the oh-so-much-worse Teen Wolf Too)... So it turns out, rather freakishly, that among all the myriad bad movies we have seen, both of us have clear recollections of seeing Teen Wolf. I saw it in the Middelburg movie house, just across from the Dulux paint shop. I think I wore something neon. Jeremy remembers it as the first movie where he noticed production errors: at some point you can see the microphone lowering over a guy's head :-) What a hilarious flashback...
