2012 blessings
This post is entitled 2012 blessings, but I think if I had to write them all down, there would be far, far more than that.
Over dinner tonight our little family played a "remembering game" of things to give thanks for this past year. I thought I'd share just a few of our 2012+ list on this old years' eve:
a visit from kathryn
long family walks and bike rides
jeremy learning to make delicious breads
after my longest and toughest pregnancy, my fastest and most incredible and wonderful delivery.... which brought the TOP blessing of 2012: Declan!
A visit from Dodo (J's Mom), just long enough to see Declan in person! ( a sweet side note: this photo was taken on Jeremy's birthday, which was also my due date. Dodo was due to fly out 11 days later, but 10 days later I was still pregnant. In hindsight, Jeremy says his best spent money of the year was the fare to extend his mom's ticket by the six hours it took so she could meet her grandson. I couldn't agree more.)
And miraculously, Dec's delay in arrival meant my Mom could be there with me during his birth. Blessings upon blessings!
Then later, a visit from Faye, Sam andsweet new nephew Alexander.
A visit from Grandpa
Teg starting school at Patwin Elementary, and loving it!
Owning our first home! Hello Baywood Lane, and THANK YOU GOD!
Princesses and friends:
Precious Pearsons and a wonderful chance to visit them in Houston:
Dedicating Declan to the Lord in front of our Davis Church family.
So much to be thankful for. Praise the Lord, O my Soul! Happy New Year, everyone.
