When Granny is here...

When Granny is here..... We take trips to space: we look for shooting stars and planets, we buckle up in our space shuttle, we fill in observation cards and draw pictures of what we've seen, we drive our (converted amazon box) moon buggy around, we collect moon rocks (balls) with space claws (tongs), and we wear helmets for safety...



When Granny is here..... riding in the car is more fun because a silly hand comes to tickle you when you least expect it...

When Granny is here.... we rein in the wild horses at Silveyville Christmas tree farm....



When Granny is here.... we become accomplished pastry chefs and decorate birthday cakes, christmas stockings, make artwork out of paint and leaves and stars, we bake cookies and ice ginger-bread houses....

When Granny is here...... we have extra fun feeding the tiny fish at the Nimbus fish hatchery and watching the trout and salmon splash for the fish food as we sprinkle it in....

When Granny is here.... we teach her how to play duck, duck, goose.....

When Granny is here, we make fun out of nothing, dance for no reason, read stories and snuggle and chase so much more. So much more fun that there's hardly time to take pictures of it all. We really, really like it when Granny is here.
